DJ Burns, IIIDJ Burns, III

President/Project Director: 18+ years Experience - Bachelor’s Degree in Liberal Arts, St. Norbert College (1987); Graduate Studies in Environmental Science (1987-1990)

D.J. is responsible for the quality of technical product and client service and supervises all technical staff. He also oversees projects involving Brownfield Redevelopment Services, Phase I and II Environmental Site Assessments, Site Investigations, Remediation Services, Landfill Monitoring and Closure Plans, Groundwater Monitoring, Hazardous & Solid Waste Management, Regulatory Compliance, and Geo-technical Feasibility Studies. D.J. is committed to providing outstanding client service and cost-effective project solutions.

 

Matt GiovanelliMatthew Giovanelli

Senior Project Manager: 21+ years of experience - Bachelor’s Degree in Geology, UW Parkside (1985); Graduate Studies (1985-1987); Professional Geologist, Certified Hazardous Materials Manager

Matthew’s roles include management of projects including Environmental Assessments, Site Investigations, Storage Tank Management, Remediation Services, Groundwater Monitoring, Landfill Monitoring, and Property Development.  Matthew strives to resolve issues quickly and effectively by applying his vast knowledge and technical expertise to the  specifics of each of his projects.  He is also responsible for the creation and management of cost-effective project budgets and maintaining effective communication relationships between Drake and its clients.

 

Chelsea CorsonChelsea Corson

Project Manager; 4+ years of experience - Bachelor’s Degree in Environmental Science, Alverno College (2004)

Chelsea’s primary roles include technical and project management duties associated with on-going Brownfield Redevelopment projects and Economic Redevelopment Initiatives, Site Investigations, Remediation Services, Landfill Monitoring and Closure Plans, Groundwater Monitoring, Hazardous & Solid Waste Management and Regulatory Compliance issues.  She is also responsible for the coordination of all Brownfield Redevelopment & Economic Redevelopment cost projections, pro formas, budgeting and forecasting activities and overall project implementation and wrap-up activities.

 

Angela BaranAngela Baran

Operations Manager: 4+ years of experience - Bachelor’s Degree in Environmental Science, Alverno College (2003)

Angie’s role as operations manager is to assist project managers with analytical data entry and evaluation, compile project accounting information including payments to sub-consultants and sub-contractors, provide assistance with federal & state grant administration and recordkeeping and other project-related and operational support tasks.  Angie also provides Drake’s staff with site research information (including both technical and financial aspects).  Angie manages the daily record keeping of all of the accounting activities and works diligently with the staff to implement a successful system of accounting & financial project  management for the various projects conducted by Drake Consulting Group, LLC.
